The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed guard/offensive tackle Leander Jordan to fill the roster spot of Tony Brackens, who was placed on injured reserve earlier today.

Jordan, 25, spent the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers after being selected in the third round of the 2000 draft out of Indiana (Pa.). He did not see any action as a rookie but played in 13 games last year, making five starts at right guard. He was waived by the Panthers in the final cuts on September 1 and had been out of football.
