Jaguars sign Walter Curry

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed first-year defensive lineman Walter Curry to a contract. Curry has spent time with Baltimore, Jacksonville and San Francisco and was on the Jaguars practice squad from 2005-07.

Curry, 6-4, 309, was originally signed by Baltimore as a rookie free agent in 2005. He was signed by the Jaguars to the practice squad on October 12, 2005 and spent parts of the next three seasons with the club. He was allocated by the Jaguars to NFL Europa in 2006 and 2007.

Curry spent time with the San Jose Sabercats of the Arena Football League in 2008 and played the last two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. A native of Daytona Beach, Curry attended Crescent High School where he lettered in football and basketball.
