JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars will get familiar with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in August.
The Jaguars will host the Buccaneers for two joint training camp practices at the Florida Blue Health and Wellness Practice Fields on Tuesday, August 17 and Wednesday, August 18, the Jaguars announced Wednesday.
Both practices will be open to the public.
"We are excited about the opportunity to host [Head] Coach [Dirk] Koetter and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two days during training camp," Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley said in a statement Wednesday.
It will be the first time the Jaguars have participated in joint practices during Bradley's four seasons as head coach.
"The joint practices will be a great experience for our team and a unique way to challenge our players," Bradley said. "We expect these practices, like all of our camp practices, to be extremely competitive, and I feel strongly that these two days will be very beneficial for both teams.
"We look forward to hosting the Buccaneers in Jacksonville."
The Jaguars will play host to the Buccaneers at EverBank Field Saturday, August 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the team's second preseason game. The game will be broadcast on WJXT-TV and 1010XL AM and 92.5 FM Radio as well as 99.9 Gator Country.
More information on the Jaguars training camp schedule, including dates, times and public access, will be distributed in the near future.
