The Jacksonville Jaguars today waived defensive tackle Derek Landri and activated fourth-year defensive end James Wyche (pictured) from the practice squad.

Wyche, 6-5, 279, was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the Jaguars in 2006 and spent the last seven weeks on the Jaguars' active roster that season after starting the year on the practice squad. He was placed on injured reserve for the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but he made the roster this year and was inactive for the season-opener at Indianapolis. He was waived on September 17 and signed to the practice squad on November 24.

Landri played in 35 games for the Jaguars after being selected in the fifth round of the 2007 draft. He had played in seven games in 2009 and totaled 15 tackles and one sack.
