NFL Draft: Jaguars to Select No. 24 Overall

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' first-round position is set.

The Jaguars, after winning the 2022 AFC South title and advancing to the AFC Divisional Playoff round, will select No. 24 overall in Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Jaguars would have held the No. 25 selection, but the Miami Dolphins forfeited the No. 21 overall selection.

The Jaguars currently hold nine selections in the '23 draft:

  • One in Round 1 (No. 24)
  • One in Round 2
  • One in Round 3
  • Two in Round 4
  • Three in Round 6
  • One in Round 7

The Rounds 1-3 selections are their own, as is their second selection in Round 4 and second selection in Round 6. The first Round 4 selection was acquired in a trade with Tampa Bay. The first Round 6 selection is from Houston via the New York Jets. The third Round 6 selection was acquired in a trade with Philadelphia. The Round 7 selection originally was acquired in a trade with Carolina.

The Jaguars traded their original Round 5 selection to Atlanta for wide receiver Calvin Ridley and their original Round 7 selection to Green Bay for guard Cole Van Lanen.
