The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed rookie running back DuJuan Harris to the active roster from the practice squad and signed third-year free agent cornerback Morgan Trent to a contract.  The club waived fifth-year wide receiver Jason Hill and placed safety Courtney Greene on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.  The Jaguars now have 18 players on injured reserve.

Harris spent the first 12 weeks of this season on the club's practice squad after signing as an undrafted free agent.  He played in all four preseason games and led the team with 91 yards on 21 carries along with one touchdown.  A native of Brooksville, Florida, he was a four-year letterman at Troy where he rushed for 2,635 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Trent, 6-1, 193, has played in 31 games with one start in three NFL seasons.  He played in 30 games with the Cincinnati Bengals, including six games in 2011, after being selected in the sixth round of the 2009 draft.  He had four tackles at Jacksonville in week five. Trent was waived on Nov. 2 and signed with Indianapolis on Nov. 15, playing in one game for the Colts.  His career totals include 60 tackles (47 solo), one sack, one interception, seven passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

In 2010, Trent played in eight games for the Bengals with one start and totaled 26 tackles and one interception before he was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.  He played in a career-high 16 games as a rookie in 2009.

A native of San Diego, Trent was a four-year letterman at Michigan where he played in 48 games with 41 starts.  He finished his career with 149 tackles, seven interceptions and 31 passes defensed.  He moved to Orchard Lake, Michigan in his high school years and attended St. Mary's High School.  He also lettered in track and set the indoor state track records in the 60-yard dash (6.83) and 200-meter run (21.79).

Trent will wear jersey number 37.
