JACKSONVILLE –The Jacksonville Jaguars have elevated CB Tevaughn Campbell to the active roster from the practice squad for tonight's game via standard elevation, the team announced today.
Campbell originally signed to Jacksonville's active roster on October 26, 2022. During the 2022 season with the Jaguars, he appeared in five games and recorded three solo tackles and returned one punt for four yards. Prior to his time in Jacksonville, he signed with the Los Angeles Chargers in December 2019 and spent the following two seasons on the team's active roster. During his time with the Chargers (2020-21), he appeared in 30 games and recorded 44 tackles (31 solo), three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception returned for a touchdown.
He attended University of Regina (2012-17) and was dual-sport athlete participating in both football and track and field. In 2016, he won a CIS Gold medal for the 60-meter dash (6.67s) and set a school record. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he attended Palm Harbor University High School.
