JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed LB Amari Burney, the team announced today. Additionally, the team has waived CB Keni-H Lovely.
Burney, 26, has played 24 games (one start) in two seasons with the Raiders (2023-24) after being drafted by Las Vegas in the sixth round (203rd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. He also spent part of the 2025 offseason with the Titans. His career totals include 27 tackles, five special teams tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one forced fumble.
Burney, a St. Petersburg, Fla. native, played collegiately at Florida (2018-22) where he appeared in 58 games (22 starts) and totaled 223 tackles, 16 passes defensed, 15 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He and LB Ventrell Miller were teammates for all five of his seasons with the Gators.
