Roster Moves: Jaguars Sign OL Timothy McKay & LB Baylon Spector

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves:

  • Signed OL Timothy McKay
  • Signed LB Baylon Spector
  • Placed LB Parker Hughes on the Reserve/Injured list
  • Waived TE Ethan Conner

McKay, 24, signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent the 2025 season on the Commanders' practice squad.

The Raleigh, N.C., native played six seasons at NC State (2014-19). He appeared in 56 games, making 35 starts at both tackle and guard. McKay was a semifinalist three times for the William V. Campbell Trophy (2022-24), given annually to the nation's top football scholar-athlete.

Spector, 27, spent the last four seasons with Buffalo (2022-25) after being drafted by the Bills in the seventh round (231st overall) in 2022. He has appeared in 29 games (four starts) and totaled 45 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery as well as 10 special teams tackles. Spector has also appeared in three postseason contests, making one start.

A native of Calhoun, Ga., Spector attended Clemson (2017-21) where he appeared in 53 games (20 starts) and produced 193 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, three passes defensed and an interception. Spector played with QB Trevor Lawrence (2018-20), including during the National Championship title run in 2018, and DT Ruke Orhorhoro (2019-21) for three seasons with Tigers.
