JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves, the team announced today:
- Acquired OL Daniel Faalele (FAH-ah-LAY-lay) from the New York Giants in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2027 NFL Draft, pending a physical.
- Waived OL Timothy McKay
Faalele, 26, was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He spent the last four seasons (2022-25) in Baltimore before joining the Giants this offseason. Faalele has appeared in 66 regular season games (35 starts) as well as five postseason contests (two starts). Over the last two seasons, he has started 34 consecutive games at right guard. Faalele helped block for the NFL's top overall (424.9 ypg) and running offense (187.6 ypg) in 2024 and the league's second best run game (156.6 ypg) last season.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Faalele moved to Bradenton, Fla. as a junior in high school and began playing organized football his senior year. He played collegiately at the University of Minnesota (2018-21) where he played 34 games (31 starts) and earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors his senior season.
