Spreading the holiday cheer


  • Safety Mike Hamlin, linebacker Kyle Bosworth and safety Don Carey visited Mayport Naval base and greeted the troops.  The players had the opportunity to tour one of the ships that is stationed at the base. * Punter Adam Podlesh, kicker Josh Scobee and long snapper Jeremy Cain purchased and distributed tickets to Sunday's game for volunteers at the American Cancer Society. * Tight end Zach Potter and his wife, Tyeler, hosted five families from Community Connections at EverBank Field where they provided a holiday meal. * Offensive lineman Daniel Baldridge and defensive end Austen Lane stopped by a local Winn-Dixie store to distribute food to families participating in the Strengthening Ties and Empowering Parents (STEPS) program of Family Support Services of North Florida.  * Linebacker Russell Allen and his wife, Ali, purchased Christmas gifts for a family through the Community Connections program.
