Taylor has surgery

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his left knee for repair of a medial collateral ligament injury. The surgery, which was performed by Dr. John Uribe in south Florida, was successful and Taylor is expected to make a full recovery. Taylor missed the Jaguars' last two games of the season due to the knee injury, ending a streak of 46 consecutive games started.
