The Jacksonville Jaguars today released cornerbacks Dewayne Washington and Juran Bolden and fullback Marc Edwards.
Washington, 32, started all 16 games for the Jaguars after being signed as a veteran free agent on March 9, 2004. The 11th-year veteran recorded 86 tackles, two interceptions and one forced fumble last season.
Edwards, 30, played in 13 games, starting five contests last season. The eighth-year fullback caught seven passes for 41 yards in his second year with the Jaguars. He was originally signed as an unrestricted free agent from New England on March 17, 2003.
Bolden, 30, played in 13 games after signing as an unrestricted free agent on March 24 from Atlanta. The eighth-year cornerback registered 25 tackles and one forced fumble and added five special teams tackles last season.
The Jaguars now have 62 players under contract.
