JACKSONVILLE – Jalen Ramsey is perhaps the NFL's best cornerback.
He without question is one of the league's best players – and he has been honored in that vein for a second consecutive year.
Ramsey, a Pro Bowl cornerback for the Jaguars each of the past two seasons and a first-team Associated Press All-Pro selection following the 2017 season, on Monday was named one of the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2019 by the NFL Network. Ramsey was No. 27 on the list, an announcement made Monday when the network unveiled Selections No. 21-30.
Ramsey, the No. 5 overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Jaguars, has nine career interceptions and intercepted three passes last season. He had 13 passes defensed last season.
Ramsey was the No. 17 player on the NFL's Top 100 list for 2018. He is the second Jaguars player on the '19 list, with defensive end Calais Campbell making the list at No. 54.
