The last word

"I just feel like as a teammate it's up to me to make sure everybody on this team is up to speed with playing ball. If something happens to me, like my back, we may need him to be out there.  If I give him the knowledge I have and that makes him that much better than me and he's a better quarterback than me then that is going to help this team out.  I'm all about competition.  If you're better than me, that's just plain and simple, you're better than me.  I know when I came in as a rookie and my head was spinning, Mark Brunell helped me out.  I think that is what you're supposed to do.  You're not supposed to hand him the key and say, 'take my job.' You're just supposed to compete and as a teammate you are supposed to do everything you can to help the next man.  But compete your butt off, too."
