JACKSONVILLE – T.J. Yeldon is the Jaguars' starting running back.

That doesn't qualify as a huge surprise, but it was perhaps the most notable "news" when the team released its Week 1 unofficial depth chart on Tuesday.

Yeldon, a rookie second-round selection from the University of Alabama, is listed as the starter ahead of veteran Denard Robinson, veteran Toby Gerhart, veteran Bernard Pierce and rookie Corey Grant. Yeldon, Robinson and Gerhart are all expected to play on offense in a heavy rotation, with Gerhart the short-yardage back.

Yeldon and Robinson had been listed as co-starters throughout the preseason.

Elsewhere on offense, there were no changes, with the starting offensive line remaining left tackle Luke Joeckel, left guard Zane Beadles, center Stefen Wisniewski, right guard Brandon Linder and right tackle Jermey Parnell.

Julius Thomas is listed as the starter at one tight end despite being expected to miss multiple games at the start of the season with a hand injury. Clay Harbor is listed as his backup, with Marcedes Lewis listed as the starter at the opposite tight end position.

Quarterback Blake Bortles is listed as the starter, with Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns listed as the starting wide receivers and Rashad Greene and Marqise Lee the backups.

Defensively, Andre Branch and Sen'Derrick Marks are listed as the starting Leo and three-technique defensive tackle, respectively. Each player is expected to miss multiple games at the start of the season.

Tyson Alualu, the team's backup strong-side end, is listed behind Marks at the three-technique. He is expected to start at the position and be part of a rotation there that includes starting strong-side end Jared Odrick and reserve tackles Abry Jones and Michael Bennett.

At the Leo, Chris Clemons is listed second behind Branch with Chris Smith and Ryan Davis listed third and fourth, respectively. Smith is expected to play the Leo on first- and second-down base situations, with Clemons and Davis also playing at times there and in passing situations.

Roy Miller is listed as the starting nose tackle, with Telvin Smith the weak-side linebacker, Paul Posluszny at middle linebacker and Dan Skuta at the Otto linebacker position.

Aaron Colvin and Davon House are listed as the starting cornerbacks with Johnathan Cyprien and Sergio Brown the starting strong and free safeties, respectively. Colvin is expected to move inside to the nickel in passing situations with Demetrius McCray or Dwayne Gratz playing outside in those situations.

Grant is listed as the team's kickoff returner with Greene as the punt returner. Denard Robinson is the backup kickoff returner with fifth receiver Bryan Walters the backup punt returner.
