Jake Temme enters his first season in Jacksonville as senior vice president of football analytics in 2025 after 11 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams (2014-24), most recently as the team's director of data and analytics (2022-24).
As director of data and analytics, Temme leveraged his expertise to utilize data-driven decision-making across all levels of the Rams organization with a particular emphasis on current and prospective player evaluation, as well as acquisition strategies each season.
Before assuming a director role, Temme served as manager of data and analytics, overseeing the football IT system (JAARS), which houses the team's personnel information. Temme's system, which he developed as an architect in the Rams' football information technology department, is the primary system of data collection, transformation and analysis, pulling from hundreds of thousands of data points from various sources utilized by the Rams' scouting operation.
Temme graduated from the University of Dayton in 2012 with a degree in entrepreneurship and management information systems with a concentration in business intelligence. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in data science from the University of Southern California.
Temme is a native of St. Louis, Mo., and a graduate of St. Louis University High. He and his wife, Holly, welcomed a daughter, Bailey, in April of 2025.
