Shanna Khan is a visionary leader and driving force behind some of Jacksonville's most transformative projects, overseeing her family office's global portfolio of development and investment properties and initiatives, including the landmark Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Shipyards. Shanna guides the vision, strategy and achievements of these high-impact projects, which are positively reshaping the identity of Downtown Jacksonville's Northbank district.
From the outset, Shanna led the aesthetic and experiential vision for the Shipyards, ensuring that each new component — from the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, new six-story office building, and revitalized marina, to the reimagined Metropolitan Park, and scenic riverwalk— reflects future-proof enduring design and timeless value.
Shanna is also the founder and CEO of Shanna Collective, a bespoke enterprise which has already advanced timeless design and developments in custom and multi-family residential, commercial, aviation and marine, luxury goods, and hospitality sectors. She founded and acts as chief investment officer of Shanna Capital, a private investment fund that has led and financed complex mixed-use real estate developments nationwide for over a decade.
Shanna's national real estate development projects include 919 West Fulton, an 11-story mixed-use Chicago development that recently received a prestigious Co-Star Impact Award, as well as Broadway Chapter, a multifamily community in Fort Worth, Texas. In Illinois, Shanna conceived, designed and delivered The Resort at Urbana Country Club, a luxury three-level boutique hotel with world-class amenities. Once complete, she then led the complete renovation of the club's historic Tom Bendelow-designed golf course, which reopened in 2025.
Shanna's leadership extends to the boardroom, having served as an independent director for Yellowstone Acquisition Company (NYSE: YSAC), which successfully merged with Sky Harbour LLC (NYSE American: SKYH), an owner and developer of business aviation complexes.
Dedicated to philanthropy and community, Shanna serves as a director for both the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation and the Khan Foundation, Inc. She has made significant gifts to Jacksonville's cultural institutions, including a $5 million donation to the Museum of Science and History Genesis Campaign and a $1 million contribution to the Museum of Contemporary Art for the acquisition of Frank Stella's "Jacksonville Stacked Stars." Her passion for animal welfare is reflected in her role on the PAWS Chicago Development Board and her family's game-changing $15 million donation to the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital's integrated oncology program.
Shanna holds an honors Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Early in her career, she served the U.S. House of Representatives as an Immigration and International Affairs Specialist, facilitating joint initiatives with the U.S. State Department and other federal agencies.
Shanna, with her father, Shahid Khan, and her brother, Tony Khan, is a proud owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL) and Fulham Football Club (English Premier League).
