For the 116th Overall Pick in the 2024 Draft the Jaguars Select DT Jordan Jefferson

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars got defensive in Round 4.

They did so by using their selection of the round on a very familiar school.

Jordan Jefferson, a defensive tackle from Louisiana State, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars No. 116 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft – the 16th selection of Round 4.

Jefferson (6-feet-3, 313 pounds) played four seasons at West Virginia before transferring to LSU for his final season. He played all 13 games for LSU in 2023 with six starts.

He registered 90 tackles in college with 21.5 tackles for loss and six sacks. He was invited to participate in the Senior Bowl in January.

Jefferson became the third LSU player selected by the Jaguars in this NFL Draft, with the team selecting wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in Round 1 and defensive lineman Maason Smith in Round 2.

The Jaguars hold four more selections in the '24 draft: Round 5 (No. 153 overall), Round 5 (No. 167 overall), Round 6 (No. 212 overall) and Round 7 (No. 236 overall).
