In and Out, Week 14: Lawrence Active

W14-INACTIVES-SEPT-29

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Trevor Lawrence is expected to play Sunday.

Lawrence, who has started 46 consecutive games since the Jaguars selected him No. 1 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, sustained right high-ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of an overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals Monday. He did not practice Wednesday before practicing Thursday and Friday.

He was listed as questionable Friday on the team's final injury report of the week.

The Jaguars' inactive players Sunday:

  • Defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (heel)
  • Cornerback Tyson Campbell (quadricep)
  • Cornerback Tre Herndon (concussion)
  • Outside linebacker Yasir Adbullah
  • Left tackle Walker Little (hamstring)
  • Tight end Brenton Strange (foot)
  • Quarterback Nathan Rourke

Rourke was signed to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday and is designated the team's third-team emergency quarterback for Sunday.
