Will Blackmon has a personal connection with Crohn's disease after his mother passed away when he was six years old, after battling the disease. He will serve as chairman of the Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis event on Saturday, May 17th at the University of North Florida.
Blackmon also established a page on the organization's website where he is raising funds to find a cure for Crohn's. Any person wishing to donate can visit Blackmon's personal page here. Blackmon will also be picking one lucky fan that donates to his page to join him for lunch at Everbank field as a way to help raise funds for the cause. Anyone that donates is automatically entered to win.
