The Jaguars made four roster moves on Wednesday, placing safety Donovin Darius on injured reserve, signing rookie wide receiver Charles Sharon from the practice squad, and re-signing offensive tackle Wayne Hunter and defensive back David Richardson to the practice squad.

Darius had started all 10 games this season at strong safety after returning from a knee injury in 2005. The nine-year veteran broke his leg in the first quarter of the Jaguars win on Monday night and underwent surgery on Tuesday. He was second on the team with 60 tackles and four passes-defensed.

Sharon was originally signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Bowling Green. The 6-0, 184-pound receiver spent the first 10 games on the Jaguars practice squad after playing in all four preseason games.
