Every Sunday, Calais Campbell and Telvin Smith line up alongside each other on the field, but off the field, the two will face off in a charity challenge. Campbell and Smith will be participating in the 'Jaguars Most Valuable Pizza' presented by Mellow Mushroom, where six Jaguars players will create their own specialty pizza to be featured at all five Jacksonville-area Mellow Mushroom locations during the 2017 season, with a percentage of every specialty pizza sold going towards the charity of the players choosing.

Six players in total will go head-to-head in three different matchups throughout the season to see who can raise the most money for their foundation or charity of choice. Fans are encouraged to donate at all five Mellow Mushroom locations throughout the Jacksonville area.

"Telvin and I are true competitors on and off the field," Campbell said "Whether it is on the field or in the kitchen, we always want to be the best at what we do. As a defensive lineman, I definitely think I have an advantage in this competition because to get to this size I have had my fair share of pizza. Most importantly, I am looking forward to connecting with Jaguars fans and raising money for my foundation, The CRC Foundation, which is named after my late father Charles. The CRC Foundation raises money towards the enhancement of our community through the teaching of critical life skills to young people."

All donations and a portion of the sales of Smith's pizza will go towards the Grand Park Career Center located in downtown Jacksonville, whose vision is for young people to rise to the level of expectations of those they love and admire and are dedicated to the idea that academic success builds self-confidence.

"We are blessed to be able to play in this league and have the platform to raise awareness to topics and areas that we care deeply about," Smith said. "Joining Mellow Mushroom and Calais is a great way for me to interact with the fans and be able to give back to the community. Plus, now Jaguars fans can eat like the pros do!"
