Florida Lottery Partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Florida Lottery today announced a partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars to offer a Jaguars-themed Scratch-Off game. Just in time for football season, the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS game is currently on sale at select retailers, and will be available at Lottery retailers statewide beginning Tuesday, August 3, 2010.

"Jacksonville Jaguars fans are extremely loyal to their team, and we felt a Jaguars Scratch-Off game would be well received by football fans and Lottery players alike," said Florida Lottery Secretary Leo DiBenigno. "Players will enjoy the excitement of the game, and the second chance prizes offered are sure to generate cheers from fans throughout the state."

Florida Lottery players will be able to show their Jacksonville Jaguars team spirit while having the chance to win up to $100,000! In addition to the top prize, the $5 Scratch-Off game offers cash prizes ranging from $5 to $5,000, and allows players to win up to 12 times on the same ticket. Each game's overall odds of winning are one in 4.01.

Also, throughout the fall season, players will be able to enter non-winning JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS Scratch-Off tickets in a second chance promotion offered on the Lottery's Web site. Six second chance drawings will be held on August 18, September 8, September 29, October 20, November 10 and December 1, for prizes that include game tickets, team jerseys, VIP experiences and more. Additional information will be available on the Lottery Web site beginning Tuesday, August 3.

Florida voters, by a two-to-one margin, approved a constitutional amendment in 1986 authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. Today, Floridians continue to show their support by purchasing nearly $4 billion in Lottery products per year, resulting in contributions of more than $21 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since 1988.
