JACKSONVILLE - – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves, the team announced today:
- Placed S Eric Murray on the Injured Reserve - Designated for Return list and opened his 21-day practice period
- Signed S Trevian Thomas to the practice squad
Murray started the first seven games of the season before being placed on the Reserve/Injured list on October 31. He totaled 33 tackles (18 solo), four passes defensed, an interception and a quarterback hit.
Thomas signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. He has spent the majority of the 2025 season on Carolina's practice squad and was on their 53-man roster for Weeks 5 and 6. He has appeared in one game this season (Week 5 vs. MIA) and made one special teams tackle.
A native of Americus, Ga., Thomas played in 60 games at Arkansas State (2020-24) and totaled 257 tackles (158 solo), 17 passes defensed, eight interceptions, 5.5 tackles for loss, four fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles. He earned First-Team All-Sun Belt honors in 2024 after leading the conference with five interceptions.
