JAGUARS RECORD FRANCHISE-RECORD IN RUSHING YARDS

The Jaguars rushed for a franchise-record 375 yards, surpassing the previous high of 244 on 12/3/00 vs. Cleveland. The 375 rushing yards were the most in the NFL since Cincinnati had 407 rushing yards against Denver on October 22, 2000. The Jaguars had the record in the first half as they rushed for 251 yards. It was the third game this season with 200-plus rushing yards, tying for the most in team history (2000). The Jaguars entered the game with the third-best rushing attack in the NFL with an average of 143.0 yards per game. The Jaguars have rushed for 100-plus yards in 11 of 13 games this season and 150-plus yards in eight of 13 games. Today's game was the ninth consecutive game the Jaguars had 100-plus rushing yards.

HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE

The Jaguars have outscored their opponents 191 to 64 in seven home games. The Jaguars have scored 20 touchdowns (12 rush, 6 pass, 1 defense, 1 return) while the opponents have managed only seven TDs. The Jaguars have allowed a NFL-low 9.1 points per game in the first seven home games.

TAYLOR AND JONES-DREW BECOME FIRST RUNNING BACK DUO TO GO OVER 100 YARDS IN A GAME

Fred Taylor (9-131, 1 TD) and Maurice Jones-Drew (15-166, 2 TDs) became the first running back duo in team history to each record 100-plus rushing yards in a game. Taylor and Jones-Drew both had 100-plus rushing yards at half as the team rushed for 251 yards in the first half. It was the first time for a team to have two 100-yard rushers in the first half and 251 rushing yards in the first half since 11/22/92 when Buffalo did it against Atlanta (Kenneth Davis, 147; ThurmanThomas, 103). The Bills had 254 rushing yards at the half.

TOUCHDOWNS, TOUCHDOWNS AND MORE TOUCHDOWNS

Rookie RB/KR Maurice Jones-Drew scored three touchdowns to increase his rookie total to 12 (9 rushing, 2 receiving, 1 return) which is tops among all rookies. Jones-Drew has 12 touchdowns in the last 11 games and at least one touchdown in nine of the last 11 games. The 12 touchdowns by Jones- Drew are the most by a Jaguar since Fred Taylor had 14 in 2000. The 12 touchdowns rank second alltimefor Jaguars rookies and also moved him into fourth place in team history for a season.

MAURICE JONES-DREW SETS FRANCHISE RECORD WITH 303 ALL-PURPOSE YARDS

Maurice Jones-Drew produced a franchise record 303 all-purpose yards, surpassing the record of 291 by Jimmy Smith (9/10/00 at Balt.). It was the most all-purpose yards in the NFL since Jonathan Carter of the New York Jets had 304 vs. Indianapolis on November 16, 2003. In addition, Jones-Drew surpassed Fred Taylor (1,644, 1998) for the single-season team record for most all-purpose yards by a rookie. Jones- Drew owns three of the top seven single-game all-purpose yards totals in team history. It was Jones-Drew's second game this season against Indianapolis with 200-plus all-purpose yards. TAYLOR SURPASSES EARL CAMPBELL IN 21ST PLACE IN NFL HISTORY; REGISTERS 42ND 100-YARD RUSHING GAME

Fred Taylor rushed for 131 yards on nine carries and surpassed Earl Campbell for 21st in NFL history in rushing yards. Taylor registered his 42nd career 100-yard rushing game. Taylor has four 100-yard rushing games this season, surpassing his total for 2005 (3). He has 100-plus yards rushing in two of thelast three games.

TAYLOR RECORDS SECOND-LONGEST RUSH OF HIS CAREER

RB Fred Taylor broke free for a 76-yard run on the Jaguars first offensive play, the second-longest run in team history in the regular season (Taylor, 77t, 10/12/98 vs. Miami). The 76-yard run was thelongest play of the season for the Jaguars.

GARRARD IMPROVES TO 10-5 OVERALL AS A STARTER

QB David Garrard improved to 10-5 overall as a starter, 5-2 in 2006 and 6-3 in home games. Garrard has won nine of his last 12 starts and has wins in four of his last five starts against AFC South opponents.

JONES-DREW SETS TEAM RECORD WITH A RUSHING TOUCHDOWN IN FIVE CONSECUTIVE GAMES

Maurice Jones-Drew set a team record with a rushing touchdown in his fifth consecutive game. The five straight games with a touchdown ranks tied for second in team history behind Fred Taylor who holds the top mark (7 in 2000, 5 in 1998).

JONES-DREW SCORES ON 93-YARD KICKOFF RETURN, THIRD-LONGEST RETURN IN TEAM HISTORY

Maurice Jones-Drew returned the opening kickoff of the second half 93 yards for a touchdown, the third-longest return in team history. It was the first kickoff return for a touchdown since Derrick Wimbush had a 91-yard return on 11/27/05 at Arizona.

TAYLOR GOES OVER 1,000 RUSHING YARDS FOR THE SEASON

Fred Taylor surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the season, marking the sixth time in his career he has accomplished the feat in his nine-year career. Taylor is the only player in team history to rush for 1,000 plus yards in a season.

SCOBEE EXTENDS SCORING STREAK TO 30 CONSECUTIVE GAMES

Josh Scobee has scored in 30 consecutive games dating back to 1/2/05, the second-longest streak in team history (10/16/00 through 12/30/01). Mike Hollis holds the team record at 67 games. In addition, Scobee reached 100 points for the season, the eighth time a Jaguar has reached 100 points.
