The Jaguars welcome their first opponent to newly named EverBank Stadium this Sunday in the form of the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Jacksonville is coming off of a 31-21 divisional-game win over the Indianapolis Colts. It was the Jaguars' first win in Indianapolis since Oct. 22, 2017.
This week, Head Coach Doug Pederson talked about the importance of the first home game of the 2023 season. "I think it's going to be everything. I know it's an early start, might be a little warm, but we love to have a full crowd. Anytime you start your season home with the defending Super Bowl champions, it's exciting. It's exciting for us as a team and for our fans. I expect a full crowd and I'm just looking forward to Sunday," Pederson said.
