Jags preseason schedule set

The Jacksonville Jaguars' 2008 preseason schedule is highlighted by a national game on NBC at Washington on Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. Dates and times of the other games will be announced at a later date.

The team will open its preseason with back-to-back home games. Atlanta, who is coached by former Jaguars defensive coordinator Mike Smith, visits Jacksonville in week one while Miami travels to Jacksonville in week two. The Jaguars will be meeting the Dolphins for the sixth consecutive preseason.

The Jaguars play their first road game of the preseason in week three at Tampa Bay, the seventh consecutive preseason the teams have met. The Jaguars will conclude the preseason with a trip to Washington.

Week One vs. Atlanta

Week Two vs. Miami

Week Three at Tampa Bay

August 28 at Washington (Nationally televised on NBC)
