Jaguars: 2019 opponents, first-round draft position set

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' 2019 opponents are set.

Their spot in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft is, too.

The Jaguars not only will play their three AFC South rivals twice each in the 2019 regular season, they will play all four teams from the AFC West and NFC South in addition to the fourth-place teams from the AFC East and the AFC North.

The Jaguars (5-11) finished the 2018 season on Sunday with a 20-3 loss to the Houston Texans. They currently hold the No. 7 overall position in the first round of the April 25-27 2019 NFL Draft.

The Jaguars in 2019 will play home and away against AFC South rivals Tennessee (9-7), Indianapolis (10-6) and Houston (11-5), and will play the following teams at home:

*Kansas City Chiefs (12-4, AFC West), Los Angeles Chargers (12-4, AFC West), New Orleans Saints (13-3, NFC South), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-11, NFC South) and New York Jets (4-12, AFC East).

They will play the following teams on the road:

*Oakland Raiders (4-12, AFC West), Denver Broncos (6-10, AFC West), Carolina Panthers (7-9, NFC South), Atlanta Falcons (7-9, NFC South) and Cincinnati Bengals (6-10, AFC North).
