Jaguars select Gratz in Round 3

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars selected Dwayne Gratz in the third round of the NFL Draft.

Gratz, a cornerback from the University of Connecticut, was the second selection of the third round, the 64th selection overall.

Gratz (5-foot-11, 201 pounds) started all 11 games as a senior, and was the No. 7-rated cornerback by NFL Draft Scout. He registered 53 tackles as a senior.

The Jaguars used the second overall selection of the draft on Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel on Thursday. They used the first selection of the second round on Florida International safety Johnathan Cyprien early Friday evening.
