Jaguars select Harris in Round 7

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars have selected Jeremy Harris in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Harris, a cornerback from New Mexico State, was the second selection of the seventh round Saturday. He was the 208th overall selection.

The Jaguars had used the No. 2 selection on Texas A&M left tackle Luke Joeckel, then selected safety Johnatha n Cyprien from Florida International with the first selection of the second round. The Jaguars selected University of Connecticut cornerback Dwayne Gratz with the second selection in Round 3.

The Jaguars selected South Carolina wide receiver Ace Sanders in the fourth round and Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson in the fifth round. Robinson is expected to play running back for the Jaguars.

The Jaguars selected Florida safety Josh Evans in the sixth round.
