The Jacksonville Jaguars signed unrestricted free agent quarterback Cleo Lemon, who spent the past three season with the Miami Dolphins.
Lemon, 28, started seven of his nine games at quarterback for the Dolphins last season. The 6-2, 215-pounder led the team in passing, completing 173 of his 309 passes (56.0 percent) for 1,773 yards and six touchdowns with six interceptions. The fifth-year veteran rushed 31 times for 102 yards and four touchdowns. He was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by Baltimore in 2002 out of Arkansas State.
He spent a year on the San Diego practice squad in 2004 before being traded to Miami on Oct. 18, 2005. In 13 career games with Miami, he has completed 211 of 377 passes for 2,702 yards and eight touchdowns.
