JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars Strength and Conditioning and Performance Science staffs were named Alvin Roy NFL Performance Team of the Year by the Professional Football Performance Coaches Association for their outstanding work during the 2025 season.

Director of Strength and Conditioning Eric Ciano, Assistant Strength and Conditioning coaches Paul Jackson, Lanier Coleman, Julian Whitehead, Will Wynkoop, Trevor Heitz and Andy Koch, Director of Performance Science Christopher Bach and Performance Science Coordinator Chris Beaulaurier were recognized at the PFPCA annual awards banquet last night for their efforts to maximize player performance and improve player health through cutting edge performance training. It marks the second time Ciano has been recognized by the PFPCA as he was named NFL Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2019 during his time with the Buffalo Bills.

"I am humbled and honored that our staff was selected as the NFL Performance Team of the Year." Ciano said. "Our team works tirelessly to ensure our players are put in the best positions to succeed. This award would not have been possible without each and every member of our staff and our players' dedication to being their best."

"I am very proud of our Strength and Conditioning staff for being recognized as the best in the NFL. Their commitment to our players is unwavering." said Jaguars Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tony Boselli. "Eric and his staff push our players to be better every single day and will continue to be an essential part of our organization's success moving forward."
