Joshua Cribbs steps up his game

Week 15 of the NFL season is in the books, and that means some of you won and are moving onto the finals while the rest lost and are looking to win the 3rd-place trophy in your league. Remember, just because you lost this weekend doesn't mean the season is over, you can still place in the top three and that is better than sitting in fourth place and on the outside looking in.

Winners

##### Losers

Brett Favre:Not only did Favre refuse to leave the game when the coach tried to pull him, but he also managed to give his owners just 224 passing yards, no TDs, and one INT on Sunday. If you've followed these articles you know I am not a Favre fan, but not even I expected this from him this weekend.

Tom Brady: Brady is usually money in fantasy leagues, but this weekend he found a way to throw just 11 completions for 115 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He has completed 54.5 percent of his passes in the last two weeks and that is not something I like to see heading into the fantasy championship game.

DeAngelo Williams: Williams finished with just 13 yards rushing and no TDs. Granted, he injured his ankle in the first quarter, but 13 yards and no scores is still a 1-point effort in the fantasy semi-finals.

Quinton Ganther: After last week's 50-yard and 2-TD effort, fantasy owners put Ganther in their starting lineups this week hoping for a late season waiver wire stud. This week Ganther managed to run for a whopping 21 yards, caught for another 19 yards, and scored on a one yard run late in the 3rd quarter.

Wes Welker: Welker fell victim to the same problems that plagued Brady this weekend. As a result, he finished with just 40 receiving yards and failed to find the endzone. New England hasn't locked anything up just yet, so I expect them both to play in Week 16.

Calvin Johnson: I warned people not to play Megatron this weekend and he proved me right as he put up just 35 yards receiving and didn't score a touchdown. Without a quarterback that can get the ball in tight spots accurately, Johnson's numbers will suffer and he won't be worth starting.

Visanthe Shiancoe: Shiancoe is actually #3 amongst TEs with nine touchdowns this season, but he only had 24 yards receiving and no scores this weekend. He has just seven catches in the last three weeks and isn't a great bet for to start next week, even against the Bears.

Denver Broncos defense: The Broncos not only lost to the Raiders in a rivalry game, but their defense was one of the biggest busts this weekend as they allowed 20 points while getting just one sack, one interception, and forcing one fumble. Not the stats I want to see from a top-3 projected defense for Week 15 by many people.

Ok, so how did I do? I went 12-16 this weekend and I will take that any day of the week compared to what the other sites get right. If you were lucky enough to make it to the fantasy finals then congratulations and make sure you check next week's article for your starters and sitters and email me with any questions you may have.
