The following are notes from the Jaguars' 44-10 win over the visiting Arizona Cardinals today:
• Fred Taylor's 137 yards rushing marks his eighth consecutive game over 100 yards, which extends his team record and puts him fourth on the NFL all-time consecutive-100-yard-games list. Barry Sanders leads with 14, Marcus Allen had 11 and Walter Payton is third with nine. Taylor can pass Payton before this season is over.
• Taylor has scored at least one touchdown in five consecutive games, which breaks his own team record.
• His 1,237 yards rushing this season breaks his previous high, 1,223 in his rookie season, 1998.
• Keenan McCardell has 1,015 yards receiving, marking his third time over 1,000 yards in his five seasons with the Jaguars.
• McCardell and Jimmy Smith are the sixth tandem in NFL history to each have 1,000-yard seasons three times.
• Smith has made at least one pass reception in 85 consecutive games in which he has played, the sixth-longest streak among active receivers. With his 147 yards receiving today, Smith has five 100-yard games this season and 31 in his career.
• Mike Hollis has converted nine consecutive field goal attempts and has missed only once in 24 tries this season. The lone miss was the result of his kick having been blocked. Hollis is three-for-three from 50 yards and out, and is 10 of 13 in his career.
• The Jaguars defense did not allow a point in five consecutive quarters, a team record,
• Linebacker Brant Boyer had two sacks, marking the second time in his career that he has had two sacks in a game. His interception in the first quarter is the second of his career.
• McCardell's 22-yard punt return in the second half is the Jaguars' longest of the season, and McCardell's career-best.
• Arizona's Martay Jenkins set an NFL record for kickoff returns (71) and yards (1,803). Those marks topped those of the Saints' Tyrone Hughes: 70 and 1,791.
• Today's attendance, 53,472, left the Jaguars with a 60,313 average per game this season at Alltel Stadium.
