The FanDuel Fantasy Forecast

Last week, the Jags had a strong offensive showing against a tough Houston Texans defense, racking up 327 yards—and looking gritty as can be—in their 24-21 loss. Things get slightly easier this week, with a roadie in Detroit, where they'll face a 23rd-ranked Lions D that's been known to give up a big play or two. Or three. Or four. That all being the case, FanDuel players are well advised to pay attention to the Jaguars roster on Sunday, because it could be a terrific repository of value.

BLAKE BORTLES – QB – $7,200

Bortles came into the season as a fantasy fave, and but some have considered him a disappointment, because he hasn't managed to put up Tom Brady numbers. (Come on, man. Who has?) Well, check this out: Blake has thrown over 33 passes in each game this season, including five outings of 40-plus. Expect the ball to keep flying against the Lions shaky pass D.

ALLEN ROBINSON – RB - $7,300

Last week, Robinson proved why he was (and is) considered an elite FanDuel option, hauling in nine of his 13 targets for 107 yards, one touchdown, and, most importantly for the sake of this discussion, 23.2 FanDuel points. It was the third week in a row that Robinson has topped 12 targets, six receptions, and 70 yards, and for $7,300, it's well worth seeing if he can keep it up.

JULIUS THOMAS – TE – $5,900

Julius Thomas is finally 100% healthy, and Blake Bortles knows it. Last week, Bortles looked to the big tight end ten times; in catching six balls and one touchdown, Thomas recalled his Denver heyday, and gave fans hope for a strong second half of the season.
