Tiff Urquhart - Week 6
Tiff Urquhart is a queer, female contemporary artist shaking things up on the East Coast. Born and raised in Florida, she found inspiration in the raw beauty of her surroundings, turning a childhood passion for art into a mission-driven career. With a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Fine Art from Flagler College, Tiff has made waves with her fearless, bold creations that merge environmental and social activism. From street murals to high-profile commissions, Tiff's portfolio spans the country, featuring clients like the Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Eagles, West Elm and more. Her work even graced the halls of the U.S. Capitol while she was still in high school. Now focusing on street art and community-driven projects, Tiff is all about making art that matters. With a style that's unapologetic and a voice that's impossible to ignore, she's here to leave her mark—one wall at a time.
Ralph Sagrott - Week 7
Ralph Sagrott is a London-based graphic designer, born in Miami, Florida to Guatemalan and British parents. Growing up between cultures shaped his love for storytelling, sport, and design, and today he channels that mix into bold, versatile work. Ralph creates brand systems, motion, and experiential design that stretch across digital, print, and live events, always with a focus on building worlds people want to step into. His projects range from festival identities and production company rebrands to event and cultural campaigns. A lifelong football fan and film lover, Ralph is especially excited to bring his approach to the Jaguars' DUUUVAL Designs program at Wembley. Outside of design, he can usually be found at the cinema, working with film festivals, or diving into sports, tech, and fashion, passions that keep his work connected to culture.
Asher Jones - Week 11
I'm Asher Jones, a 21-year-old artist from Jacksonville, Florida. I started creating art when I was around 6 years old and it's been my passion ever since. Drawing and creating has always been my favorite way to express myself and my thoughts. I usually use physical materials but for this piece I decided to create it digitally. I've only recently been doing digital art but it really allows for me to have a range of possibilities. I really like how this piece came out and how the colors work together on the jaguar. To be honest this is one of my favorite pieces in a long time due to the fact I get to represent my hometown team with it.
Connor Anderson - Week 14
Connor Anderson was born and raised in Orange Park, FL. His interest in illustration was apparent at an early age, and his approach to making visual art over the years evolved from utilizing traditional mediums to mainly using Photoshop. He has always drawn influence from a variety of artists and different forms of media, helping to establish his own surreal style with an attention to detail. Starting in high school, Connor began to make art more frequently and played guitar in a few bands, which provided more opportunities to design flyers, logos, cover art and merchandise. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a BFA degree in 2016 and soon after was hired to be a graphic designer at a local signs and graphics company called Miller Creative Group. He also played guitar and sang in the Jacksonville-based band Yashira, which released two full length albums and played shows across the U.S. from 2015-2022.
Nikki Rakov - Week 15
Nikki Rakov is a visual artist based in St. Augustine, Florida. She holds an M.F.A. in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Master of Education from the University of North Florida. Working primarily in acrylics, oils, and watercolor, Nikki creates expressive and colorful figurative and landscape-based works that explore memory, storytelling, and the natural world. Her imagery is inspired by personal photography, travel and mystical experiences. Nikki's artwork is held in the permanent collections of Regions Bank and St. Johns County Public Works. She is an adjunct Professor teaching Drawing at the University of North Florida and serves on the Board of Directors at Butterfield Garage Gallery, where she is a resident artist. She is also active with the St. Augustine Art Association, where she facilitates weekly figure drawing sessions and leads community workshops.
Eric Rakov - Week 18
From an early age, Eric 's passion for visual arts was evident. Art classes were always his favorite in school and early validation came in the form of a Scholastic Art award in high school as well as AP art credit. He grew up in Syracuse, NY and attended Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned a BFA in Graphic Design and an AA in Illustration. Beginning his career journey as a web designer/developer during the tech frenzy of the late 90's, he eventually transitioned into technology leadership with a large medical company, putting his artistic pursuits on hiatus to support his family.
In 2014, Eric met his wife Nikki (also an artist), and the creative side of him was re-awakened. Their early courtship included community figure drawing sessions and plein air, and being able to nurture each others' creative passions has been a foundation for their happy marriage.
While he continues to produce drawings and paintings, Eric's primary focus has become mixed-media collage using recycled magazines. "Painting with cut magazines" accurately describes his work. This intricate process demands patience and discipline, yet also yields unexpected surprises, resulting in impressionistic renderings across a range of subjects that captivate the viewer.
Eric is an active member of the Butterfield Garage Gallery and currently serves as VP on the Board of the St. Augustine Art Association. He creates artwork alongside his wife at their home studio in St. Johns, FL. In his free time, Eric enjoys early morning workouts at Orangetheory, traveling, spending time with his family and three cats, and playing music in an acoustic duo, "Bottles On the Table" with his friend Dave.
