JACKSONVILLE – Branden Albert will be working with the Jaguars this week.

Albert reported to the Jaguars Monday in advance of the team's three-day mandatory minicamp, which will be held Tuesday through Thursday at the practice fields adjacent to EverBank Field.

Head Coach Doug Marrone had said last week he expected Albert to attend minicamp.

Albert, a left tackle acquired by the Jaguars in a trade with the Miami Dolphins in March, did not attend the voluntary portion of the Jaguars' offseason program. That phase of the offseason ended with a three-week period of 10 organized team activities that concluded last Friday.

Albert, a 10-year veteran, was the only Jaguars player not in attendance during the majority of OTAs. All OTAs and other NFL offseason activities are voluntary with the three-day minicamp the only mandatory offseason activity.

Albert, a two-time Pro Bowl left tackle and a first-round selection by Kansas City in the 2008 NFL Draft, played six seasons for Kansas City before playing for the Dolphins the past three seasons. He made the Pro Bowl with Kansas City in 2013 and Miami in 2015.

He is expected to compete at left tackle with Cam Robinson, the Jaguars' second-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.
