Jaguars fourth-year cornerback Aaron Colvin removed from Physically Unable to Perform list and expected to return to practice Saturday

JACKSONVILLE – The secondary is getting healthier.

Cornerback Aaron Colvin, who spent the first three weeks of Jaguars 2017 Training Camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, was cleared to return to practice on Saturday.

Colvin, a fourth-year cornerback who was the team’s fourth-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, missed the on-field portion of the team’s offseason program and has yet to practice in training camp while on PUP. He is expected to play the team’s nickel corner position with A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey starting at the outside corner positions.

The Jaguars were without all three of the aforementioned players in their first two preseason games. Ramsey spent the first two weeks of training came on PUP with a core muscle injury and did not participate in team drills in practice last week.

Bouye practiced throughout most of early camp, but has missed the first two preseason games with an undisclosed injury.
