JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars got good news on the offensive line Sunday.

Jermey Parnell, the Jaguars' starting right tackle, will be active after missing the last three games with a knee injury and will start against the Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Field.

Parnell was not among seven inactive players announced by the team 90 minutes before kickoff.

As expected, linebacker Telvin Smith will miss Sunday's game after sustaining a concussion in a loss at Arizona last week. Smith and the following six players were declared inactive Sunday:

Cornerback Jalen Myrick, nose tackle Eli Ankou, offensive tackle Josh Wells (concussion), offensive tackle William Poehls, guard Patrick Omameh (quadriceps) and wide receiver Allen Hurns (ankle). Wells, who sustained a concussion in practice Thursday, started the last three games in place of Parnell. Omemah will miss a third consecutive game, as will Hurns.

Chris Reed is expected to start in place of Omameh for a third consecutive game, and Keelan Cole will start in place of Hurns for a third consecutive game. Rookie Blair Brown will make his first career NFL start for Smith.
