Auditions for the 2013 ROAR of the Jaguars begin in March and this year applicants will also be considered for the squad's new brand ambassador program.  Registration is open now for The ROAR auditions, and interested parties should attend the audition class to learn more.  The registration form and details are available at jaguars.com via this link. The deadline to register is Monday, March 4.

The ROAR, the Jacksonville Jaguars Cheerleaders, are an integral part of the Jaguarsentertainment package during all home games. Under the direction of manager Christy Stechman Zynda, these NFL cheerleaders captivate fans with their explosive, high-energy dance routines. When not on the playing field, they serve as goodwill ambassadors for the Jaguars and the NFL by participating in community, corporate and charitable events throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Members of The ROAR have been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and in Maxim, and they have been featured in hundreds of television, radio, print and online interviews. All of this is in addition to the hours of rehearsal preparing for game performances and the Jr. ROAR Cheerleader program and halftime show.

The ROAR has traveled nationally and internationally to entertain, model and represent the Jaguars and the NFL. They have performed at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Atlantis, Beaches Negril, Senior Bowl and at many events during Super Bowl week in several host cities. Additionally, one member of The ROAR is selected to represent the Jaguars at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii each season. In the 2012 season alone, The ROAR entertained at events in Mexico City and London, and were photographed for their annual swimsuit calendar on location in Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. These ladies also spend time entertaining the United States Armed Forces. Over the years, The ROAR has visited many of the bases in the continental United States and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, along with bases in Greenland, Honduras, Curacao, Egypt, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Puerto Rico and Andros Island.
