BANKS PLACED ON INJURED RESERVE

The Jacksonville Jaguars today placed running back Tavian Banks

on injured reserve with a knee injury (torn ACL) which he suffered

Sunday in the game against Atlanta. Banks, 25, played in all eight

games this season with one start. He was fourth on the team with

14 catches for 137 yards and also had 23 carries for 82 yards.

Banks, a second year player from Iowa, played in six regular season

games with one start and started one playoff game last season. The

Jaguars now have 52 players on the roster. An additional roster

move to fill the vacancy is expected on Wednesday.
