BRUNELL TO START MONDAY NIGHT

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Tom Coughlin this afternoon named quarterback Mark Brunell as the starter for the team's Monday night game against the Tennessee Titans at Adelphia Coliseum.

"Mark Brunell is our quarterback, and he has been our quarterback since the middle of the 1995 season," Coughlin said. "Mark will get the reps in practice and he will be our starter on Monday night."

Brunell will be making his 40th start against an AFC Central Division rival. He has a record of 27-12 in his previous 39 starts against the division, which is the best intra-division winning percentage among all active quarterbacks. Against the Titans Brunell is 4-3 as the starter.
