Camp open to public

The Jacksonville Jaguars will hold their 2004 mini-camp this weekend, and for the first time the team is inviting fans to attend the practice sessions on Saturday. There are two 90-minute practices scheduled on Saturday, from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m., and again from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m.

Both practice sessions will take place on the practice fields northwest of ALLEL Stadium. Free parking will be available in Lot C on the east side of the stadium. Admission to all of the other stadium lots will be $5 due to the Jazz Festival and the auto show which are taking place at Metropolitan Park and the Fairgrounds, respectively.

Permanent bleachers are available along the East side of the practice fields. Pepsi, Gatorade and water will be available for purchase along with hot-dogs, dry snacks and merchandise. Members of the 2004 ROAR will also be on hand.

About 80 players are expected to participate in the weekend mini-camp, including the 10 players drafted this past weekend and 11 additional free agents signed since the draft.
