JACKSONVILLE – Calais Campbell is Orlando-bound again.

Campbell, the Jaguars' 12th-year veteran defensive end, has been named to the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive season and the fifth time in his career. The NFL announced 2020 Pro Bowl selections Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Five Jaguars players were named Pro Bowl alternates: Kicker Josh Lambo (first alternate), running back Leonard Fournette (second alternate), defensive end Josh Allen (second alternate), punter Logan Cooke (third alternate) and wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. (third alternate).

Campbell has been named to the Pro Bowl in all three seasons since signing with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent in 2017.

Campbell, a team captain in all three of his Jaguars seasons, has registered 53 tackles (36 solo), 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one pass defensed through 14 games this season. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after registering six tackles, including four tackles for loss and three sacks, in a Week 3 victory at Tennessee. He has 88.0 sacks in 12 NFL seasons and his 11 consecutive seasons with at least 5.0 sacks is the longest such active streak in the NFL.

Campbell this season is the Jaguars' Walter Payton NFL Player of the Year nominee. Last season, he received the Bart Starr Award for the NFL player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community.

He also has been named a finalist for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award this season.

Campbell joined former left tackle Tony Boselli (five selections), former wide receivers Jimmy Smith (five), former defensive tackle Marcus Stroud (three), former running back Maurice Jones-Drew (three) and former quarterback Mark Brunell (three) as the only players to be selected to three or more Pro Bowls with the Jaguars.

The 2020 Pro Bowl presented by Verizon will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando Sunday, January 26, at 3 p.m., and will be televised live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and simulcast on ABC and Disney XD.
