Coach of the week

Head coach Jack Del Rio has been voted the Motorola NFL Coach of the Week. Fan voting ran from Tuesday through Friday on NFL.com. This was Del Rio's first honors in his second nomination this year.

Del Rio led the Jaguars into Philadelphia and defeated the Eagles 13-6 on Sunday. With quarterback David Garrard starting in place of the injured Byron Leftwich, Del Rio relied on the running game to move the football. Running backs Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew combined for 180 yards and one touchdown on 36 carries, and Garrard added eight carries for 36 yards. The Jacksonville defense applied pressure to Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb all day, sacking him four times, and held Philadelphia to 227 total yards of offense.
