JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that two coaches will join the staff as part of the NFL's Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program: Zach Banner and Kyle Williams. Banner and Williams will be with the team through the end of training camp.

For over 30 years, the league-wide fellowship program has helped outstanding coaches gain exposure to NFL training camps and offseason workout programs.

Banner returns as a fellow after spending the 2026 offseason program with the team. A former NFL offensive lineman, he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round (137th overall) of the 2017 draft. Banner played in 30 career games (two starts) for the Cleveland Browns (2017) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2018-21). He was coached by current Jaguars offensive line coach and former Steelers offensive line coach Shaun Sarrett for three seasons in Pittsburgh.

Banner is from Tacoma, Wash., and played collegiately at the University of Southern California from 2013-16. He was twice named All-American and First-Team All-Pac 12 and served as a team captain.

Williams currently serves as safeties coach for the UFL's Louisville Kings. His previous coaching stops include Mississippi Valley State (2024), East Texas A&M (2019-23), UT Permian Basin (2018), Sul Ross State (2014-17), Southern California (2013), Evangel University (2011-12) and Kansas State (2008-10). Williams also served as a Bill Walsh fellow for the Dallas Cowboys during the 2025 offseason and training camp.

A native of Pine Bluff, Ark., Williams' collegiate playing career began at Navarro Junior College, where he was named All-American at cornerback. He then transferred to Kansas State, earning All-Big 12 honors as a safety and receiving his degree in social science. Williams joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent before beginning his coaching career.
