The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived defensive end Omari Hand and rookie free agent tight end Greg Estandia.

Hand was signed by the Jaguars to their practice squad on Jan. 3. The 6-4, 265-pound defensive linemen had also spent two weeks in 2004 on the Jaguars practice squad. He originally signed with San Diego as an undrafted rookie out of Tennessee in 2003.

Estandia was claimed by the Jaguars on May 30 off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals. The 6-8, 240-pound tight end was signed by the Bengals as an undrafted rookie out of UNLV following the 2005 NFL Draft. He was named offensive MVP as a senior after he led the team with 49 receptions for 563 yards and seven touchdowns.
