The Jaguars finished their fourth consecutive day of two-a-days with two spirited practices today at the practice fields at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The Jaguars completed their second straight evening practice in full pads. Wide receiver Reggie Williams was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform List before the morning practice.
Running back Fred Taylor, who is in his 11th year with the Jaguars, looks forward to the start of the regular season and hopes for a return trip to the postseason. The team captain understands what it takes to have a successful season.
"Certain things that I have to do, I will buckle down and try and get the job done," said Taylor. "Last year I had so much fun, the most fun I had had in my whole career. This year I expect to be the same way. I pray that we get two games further than we made last year. From there, the sky's the limit."
The Jaguars will practice four more times before Friday night's live scrimmage inside Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The scrimmage will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and will be open to the public. The mock game is on Saturday morning and is not open to the public.
Camp will continue on Wednesday with only one practice session at 1:30 p.m. (full pads) on the practice fields at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
