The Jacksonville Jaguars and SFX Broadcasting have agreed to renewal terms for the radio broadcast rights of official Jaguars broadcasting, including all Jaguars games, the pre- and post-game shows and "The Tom Coughlin Show" on Thursdays, "The Monday Morning Quarterback," "Countdown to Kickoff" on Fridays, a new show on Wednesday nights and daily Jaguars reports during the NFL season.
The three-year contract will run through the 2000 season. WOKV will continue to be the flagship station of the Jaguars Radio Network, WKQL Cool 96.9 FM will continue as an affiliate, and WBWL will be the play-by-play home of the Jaguars. All three stations will continue to carry the live triplecast of Jaguars game coverage.
"We are extremely pleased with the relationship with Mark Schwartz and his team at SFX Broadcasting over the past three years, and we know that the next three years will be even stronger for our fans and all partners involved," said Dan Connell, Jaguars senior vice president of marketing.
"We are delighted to be associated with our friends at the Jacksonville Jaguars once again for the next three years," said Schwartz, president and general manager of SFX Broadcasting. "The relationship has been both productive and rewarding. We look forward to many years to come as partners."
